Stana von Amorsbrunn

Stana von Amorsbrunn, "Nadja" is also from Germany. She was born 13.7.1991, parents EC Rasputin and Bluezar´s Julishka and breeder Renate Dorenberg.

Nadja

Nadja loves to be patted and fondled. You just need to touch her a little, or barely look at her and she goes on purring loudly and bumps her small head against you.

Nadja is a neuter like Nicky and Arina.

Another of Nadja's eyelids is operated and because of that the eye looks different.

Nadja relaxes

Nadja loves summer and flies - and to be outside on the verandah.
Nadja moved to our home in October 1991. 3 days she was very afraid of everything, especially of Nicky. Although he would have been ready to make friends at once. Nadja was growling, all the time; when she was playing, when she was eating, everywhere, just in case. The fourth day Nadja was emboldened to herself, and very slowly, carefully, step by step, she went to Nicky. And fall asleep next to him. And as you can see of the photos, both cats were very happy to get a new friend!

THE BIG SORROW.

Nadja would have celebrated her 14th birthday in summer, which would have been quite a high age for her because of all her illnesses and bad luck. In spite of all her troubles Nadja was always very happy, friendly and contented. A cat who didn’t save her purring. Nadja loved summer, sunshine and flies. She loved to be pet and brushed. And to eat boiled chicken and dry food; although she didn’t have any teeth. She loved pingpong balls, which were bouncing funnily.

I had noticed, that lately, little by little, Nadja had started to sleep more, it was harder for her to walk. She didn’t want to play so much anymore, she didn’t come to the sofa with me, when I watched TV. Either her appetite was not so good it had been.

But last week I saw very clearly, that Nadja was not in a good condition anymore. Poor Nadja stopped to eat, she drank only. Nadja staggered when she was walking. Nadja couldn’t sleep but just wandered from place to place. Nadja didn’t want even her best friend, Arina, near her. There was very sad and tired look in Nadja’s eyes. All week I thought about the difficult, but inevitable decision, to let Nadja get free from all pain and tiredness. In Friday morning, when I looked at Nadja, I made up my mind. Nadja was very afraid of vets, so I asked her to come to our home.

In the beautiful sunny Friday morning, 1th April, Nadja breathed her last. Nadja fell asleep, peacefully, in my arms.
